The Hidden Strength of TikTok Ads

ds

“What is it about TikTok that makes things go so viral so fast?”

“Our competitors have all these followers already on TikTok. Is it too late for us to start?”

Those are some common questions that Danny Star and the team here are asked.

One of the great strengths of TikTok is that, in a very real way, it’s designed for something to go “viral.”

That doesn’t mean that everything you post will, mind you. Rather, it means that it’s constructed in such a way that you have a better chance at something going out to more people more quickly than you might at the beginning with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and so forth.

Of course, you want to be in the best position to get the most out of that.

Working with someone that has experience with TikTok, that knows how it works, is critical.

Upload Your List and Go

This article shows a little bit of what makes TikTok so potent.

You can just “upload your target (leads) list into TikTok and you are ready to sequentially market to the most similar prospects.”

That’s just the beginning, however.

As the article goes on to say, “finding new prospects is far more cost effective on TikTok than on Facebook, Google, or LinkedIn, because TikTok’s paid ads can blend in more organically, leading to relevant connections when sharing your brand’s story.”

So, something that’s an “ad” on TikTok is far more likely to look like a video that someone posted in a non-commercial capacity. You can really take advantage of this, if your ads are constructed properly.

That said, Danny Star and the team here would amend that comment about “finding new prospects is far more cost effective on TikTok” compared to the other platforms. We would say “finding new prospects CAN BE more cost effective on TikTok.” It’s not going to be the same for every company.

But, for more companies than you might think, TikTok can be a very powerful tool.
